Sǎwng bpii thîi-láew, lǎan-sǎao khǎwng chán dâi ráb khâw-sà-něr tham-ngaan jàak baw-ri-sàt náam-hǎwm thîi yùu dtàang bprà-thêd.

Man bpen o-gàad thîi hǎa-yâak láe nâa-dtèun-dtên. Dtàe man bplae-wâa ther dtâwng glai jàak khrôb-khrua, phêuan-sà-nìt láe mǎa thîi ther rák.

New vocabulary

• โอกาส (o-gàat) - opportunity

  Example: นี่คือโอกาสที่ดีมาก (Nîi kheue o-gàat thîi dii mâak.) - This is a very good opportunity.
  

• หายาก (hǎa-yâak) - rare

  Example: โอกาสแบบนี้หายากมาก (O-gàat bàeb níi hǎa-yâak mâak.) - Opportunities like this are very rare.

• ตัดสินใจ (dtàd-sǐn-jai) - to decide

  Example: เขาตัดสินใจที่จะเรียนต่อ (Khǎo dtàd-sǐn-jai thîi jà rian dtàw.) - He decided to continue his studies.

• วัฒนธรรม (wát-thá-ná-tham) - culture

  Example: ฉันสนใจเรียนเกี่ยวกับวัฒนธรรมใหม่ (Chán sǒn-jai rian gìao-gàb wát-thá-ná-tham mài.) - I’m interested in learning about new cultures.
  

• พัฒนา (phát-tha-naa) - to develop

  Example: เธอต้องการพัฒนาทักษะของเธอ (Ther dtâwng-gaan phát-tha-naa thák-sà khǒng ther.) - She wants to develop her skills.

• รู้สึกยินดี (rúu-sèuk-yin-dii) - to feel happy for, to congrate someone 

  Example: พวกเรารู้สึกยินดีที่คุณประสบความสำเร็จ (Phûak-ráo rúu-sèuk-yin-dii thîi khun bprà-sòp khwām sǎm-rét.) - We feel congrate for your success.

These words will appear in today’s listening exercise, helping you understand the context better and practice using them in sentences.

Grammar Focus: Using "จะ" (jà) - "Will"

Let’s focus on how to use "จะ" (jà), which means "will." This structure is very useful for expressing future intentions or predictions.

ฉันจะไปเรียนภาษาไทยในปีหน้า
(Chán jà bpai rian phaa-sǎa Thai nai bpii nâa.) I will go to study Thai next year.

เขาจะทำงานที่บริษัทใหม่
(Khǎo jà tham-ngaan thîi baw-ri-sàt mài.) He will work at a new company.

เราจะไปเที่ยวต่างประเทศในฤดูร้อน
(Rao jà bpai thîao dtàang bprà-thêd nai rêue-duu rón.) We will travel abroad in the summer.

ครอบครัวจะสนับสนุนเธอเสมอ
(Khrôb-khrua jà sà-nàb-sà-nǔn ther sà-měr.) The family will always support her.
