About Kru Nariss
Kru Nariss is a TEFL-certified native Thai teacher based in Koh Samui with over six years of experience teaching students from more than 30 countries. Nariss grew up in a small town in central Thailand where most people spoke only Thai. She studied English at university and discovered something unexpected: the thrill of watching someone go from confused silence to their first real sentence in a new language. That moment, she says, is what hooked her.
After earning her TEFL certification, she moved to Koh Samui and started teaching expats and tourists who wanted more than phrasebook Thai. Word spread through the island's close-knit community.
